To assist with creating a natural forest aesthetic we had the pleasure of supplying an array of native New Zealand plants from our NZ Native Event Hire Collection. From majestic Nikau Palms to lush Ponga, Ferns, Flax, and Grasses, we created a botanical oasis within the industrial setting in Tauranga’s CBD.
Following the pandemic, many businesses are finding that with time, employees are slowly returning to the workplace from the comfort of their home offices, seeking face-to-face connection with others in their daily lives. With that return to a corporate office environment, finding ways to enhance office spaces and promote employee well-being is crucial for employers. One effective approach that has gained significant attention over the past few years is the integration of nature into the workplace to achieve a soothing and harmonious look and feel, like that of being outdoors in a forest or garden setting.
Our plant scaping brief for the new Mount Maunganui daycare Bloesem, was “to replicate a NZ forest floor” with fresh, luscious plants layered from a child’s eye level upwards to promote a feeling of being immersed in nature while indoors.
To compliment the opulent interior design, the plant scaping had to be equally as sophisticated. To achieve this, we went for groupings of giant concrete pots with a smooth matte black finish. Tall mature plants reach skyward and bushy greenery spills out from the base of the planters creating a natural layered garden effect.
‘Somewhere’ is a new co-working space and photography studio in Mount Maunganui opened by pair of creative entrepreneurs working in the event and photography industries.
